Islamabad is a capital city of Pakistan which is 9th largest city
of Pakistan and 3rd largest metropolitan city in Pakistan. There are few
international standard hotels, markets, restaurants, and guest houses.
Islamabad has international Airport which receives heavy air traffic from all
over the world. There is also railway station in Islamabad although which is
not at international standard but very important for business point of view.
Why people took flights to
Islamabad:
Generally there are
4 categories of visitors, who took flights to Islamabad,
1- Business Flights:
There are several international
business center in Islamabad such as Centaurus, Stock exchange, and
Pakistan China center. The other business centers are present in Rawalpindi, to
access those centers you have to take flights to Islamabad. The main businesses
in twin cities are, buying and selling of stocks, car showrooms, imported gift
items, real state, electronics, and food related industry. Many multinational
companies are working in Islamabad they have their head offices there like wise
cellular companies also have their head offices in Islamabad. If you talk about
Rawalpindi there is whole seller of different item which creates domestic
flights in Pakistan such as, bulk seller of surgical items, car spare parts, utensils,
and foods included in CPI (consumer price index). Now due to the one of the
biggest business center Centaurus many international business men have
eyes on Islamabad business or market.
2- Delegations and Officials:
As Islamabad is a capital and
most beautiful city of Pakistan every visitor from out of country and from
other cities would like to take flights for Islamabad. Because of lot of facilities and nearest business points and
picnic points every one prefers to stay in Islamabad where they can found few
standard hotels such as Serena, Marriott, Holiday inn and many other guest
houses. The cream of democracy and most of the ambassadors are living in

events are not organizing in Pakistan due to security reason but before these

as Margalla hills (peer sohawa, daman-e-co), said-pur village, monument, bari
imam, faisal mosque, shahdra, rawal dam, lake view park and golra mizar. Maree
hills are the nearest from Islamabad and access to many other tourism spots are
very easier from Islamabad.
4- Special Occasions:
If we talk about the nature of
south Asian countries people they would like to do job out of country because
of high rate of unemployment, young people are working out of country. Most
of those people are not settled there they have their family back in Pakistan
so they have to come back on every year or after two years may be. Many of them
are belongs from Islamabad, Rawalpindi and small towns, villages of twin cities
so they have to book flights to Islamabad. There are many other occasions
like two EIDS, Ramadan, Easter holidays, New Year, baisakhi, weddings, sudden
deaths, and traditional festival like, basant, mela, and exhibitions.
